The Nature that heals: All of diseases could be cured by returning to the basics

All of nature is a cure for itself. Our mind-body system is designed to heal itself as well as the ability to overcome disease and to rejuvenate. In spite of the advancement of science and technology paving the way for the success of modern medicine to cure diseases that were once incurable and with its many new discoveries in progress, nature remains to be still a big factor to rely on. And that could mean returning to the basics--the most simple and natural approach to healing.

The doctor, drug, or object can only assist in healing if they act in harmony with the Laws of Nature. In order to heal and stay healthy it is imperative to completely understand and embrace the physiological principle that the body is the healer as well as the psychological side of it. By simply removing all these obstacles that, in one way or another, might lead to discomfort, dysfunction, or distress, from the body and mind helps those who try to self-heal as we only can heal ourselves.

Diseases are one of the factors threatening us from having a properly functional life. They are always there waiting for us to make a big mistake so they can penetrate our system. But the biggest mistake we can make is to accept someone's advice that our condition is incurable.

It all began with the food that we eat. God's original diet for mankind could be read in Genesis 1:29 where He instructed Adam and Eve to eat "every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it" as foods. God knows what's best for us so He gave us the kind of foods that we must consume in order to live a healthy, joyful, and productive life. Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, said over 2,400 years ago: "Let your food be your medicine and medicine be your food."  Healthy eating is undoubtedly our best, safest and cheapest form of alternative medicine.

Every day we face choices that can affect our health. Healthy living means creating optimum physical, mental and spiritual health with a nutritious, positive, active, healthy lifestyle. Healthy lifestyle consists of the following: healthy eating, regular exercise, a positive attitude, rest and relaxation, healthy relationships, and a healthy social life.

Accurate education and the right support system are keys to successful healing. Knowledge is the key to discover new doors which lead to a better place. Knowing how we function enables us to accomplish healing well beyond the understanding of people in general. Hope then comes from feeling empowered and expecting to improve. We have nothing to be afraid of in everything, except our own ignorance and its consequences.

Our bodies should stay in a perfect state of health for as long as we want. By taking care and responsibility for our bodies and minds we have an opportunity to make significant contribution to our health. The power is always with us, waiting to do its work to completion.

Sometimes, when all has been done to cure a certain disease and failed, don't lose hope. Just pray and bring that case to the Master Physician where the true healing is. God, the Heavenly Father is the One who heals (Exodus 15:26); so also, the Messiah, the Son of God, Jesus Christ is the healer, by whose stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
