“The human heart is like a ship on a stormy sea driven about by winds blowing from all four corners of heaven.”
--Martin Luther King Jr.
“I have seen the sea when it is stormy and wild; when it is quiet and serene; when it is dark and moody. And in all its moods, I see myself.”
There's more to hope than to despair
In everything from day to day.
I somehow felt like I had lived
But sailing on a stormy sea.
Unmindful of the waves that rock
I only but could hope and pray--
The water that could sink a ship
Is all around it, I should say.
Yet all the way beyond the storm
There lies a very promised shore.
And in the end you could look back
And smile and say: "That's all worth for!"
